SALAMILAND
On the 1st April 2024 we moved to new premises at 109/3 Restalrig Road, Edinburgh, EH6 7NY. Handily our new home is just a 5 minute wander from our former shop. We no longer have a physical shop but you can place orders online for collection from Salamiland, as well as other pick-up points (see below).
Online shop
As small batch producers we do not have unlimited supplies of charcuterie so we restock our online shop on a Wednesday afternoon.
As we make everything by hand the weights and sizes, and therefore prices, of our individual products vary from batch to batch. This is reflected in the changing weights & prices on our online shop. We pack our hampers to order, based on the stock available on the day, with differing combinations of salamis.

Monday to Thursday 10am to 3pm & Friday 10am to 12 noon. Please get in touch to arrange an alternative time to collect if you can’t make it during our office hours.
Orders placed from 9am on a Friday to 9am on Monday will be ready for collection from 1pm on Monday.
Orders placed from 9am on a Monday to 9am on a Wednesday will be ready for collection from 1pm on Wednesday.

Market weekends take place on the last Saturday of every month (excluding December when the market takes place earlier.) When will my order be ready?
Orders placed from 9am on a Friday to 9am on Monday will be posted on a Monday.
Orders placed from 9am on a Monday to 9am on a Wednesday will be posted on a Wednesday
Orders placed from 9am on a Wednesday to 9am on a Friday will be posted on a Friday.
How long will my order take to arrive?: We use Parcelforce’s Express 24 service so once your parcel has been collected from us it should be with you the following working day. If you leave a mobile number at checkout you will receive alerts from Parcelforce and be able to change your delivery instructions.
Parcelforce do not operate on UK bank holidays so do bear this in mind when placing orders around these times.
PLEASE NOTE:
Whilst we rarely experience problems with our deliveries it is important to note that we work with third party delivery partners so any issues with delivery, such as unexpected delays, are out of our control.
Parcelforce Express 24 may not be able to deliver to some postcodes, eg the Highlands, Islands and Northern Ireland within 24 hours.
If you choose the wrong shipping option for your address we will automatically send it via the correct courier. We will only contact you if there is a balance to pay on the shipping.
gift vouchers
Gift vouchers are available to purchase from our online shop
Available gift card denominations: £25, £50, £75 & £100. It is not possible to purchase custom amounts.
Gift cards can only be redeemed online.
Gift cards are sold as unique digital codes. We are unable to create or ship physical gift cards.
At checkout, a gift card’s value is subtracted from the order total. This includes taxes and shipping.
Gift cards never expire.
Gift cards have to be purchased as part of a separate order. Customers go directly to checkout after clicking Purchase.
do you wholesale your products?
Yes! In the first instance please fill out our wholesale enquiry form here. We like to invite trade customers to Leith for a tour and tasting and to learn more about our business. This is by appointment only and may not be possible during busy periods.
Do you Attend farmers’ markets?
We regularly attend Haddington Farmers’ Market on the last Saturday of each month and Bowhouse Food Weekend on the second weekend of each month (except January).
